Tryptic Soy Agar

It is used as a general liquid medium in standard microbiological analyzes performed in vitro [outside the living cell].

Its rich nutritional content supports the development of even hard-to-grow bacteria.

In practice, this medium is added into a liquid that must be sterile (serum, sterile cosmetics, etc.).

It is dissolved by mixing and left for incubation.

The fact that the medium is clear at the end of the incubation indicates that the analyzed liquid is sterile, while its turbidity due to microbial growth indicates that it is not sterile.

Incubation should be done at different times depending on the temperature and accordingly.

It is prepared in 9ml and 90ml sizes, depending on the need and type of analysis.
